FAQ's

If the answer to your question is not listed below, please send an email to onlinesupport@freemanfurniture.com for answers.

1. Where is your showroom located?

Our #1 question! We are an online furniture store. Our online showroom includes hundreds of furniture groups.  If we displayed all of the furniture on our website in a physical showroom, the overhead would not allow us to sell our line at such low prices.

2. Can I purchase the furniture through Freeman Furniture Designs' website?

The answer is YES! You actually enter your credit card information on our secure/encrypted website and your order is processed and delivered in days; not weeks.

3. Why not have 50% to 70% discounts like other furniture stores?

Today's consumers are smarter than most retailers give them credit for being. It doesn't take much figuring out to see that a retailer offering huge discounts is inflating their prices first, we don't do that. We figure a reasonable markup over what the product actually costs and that is what you will find marked in our online showroom. There is no tricky stuff going on here.

4. Is my furniture assembled when it is delivered?

No. Your furniture will be delivered in shipping boxes to protect the furniture.  Freeman Furniture does offer an assembly service at an additional cost of $40.00 per room. The service includes removing the furniture from the packaging, assembling it and placement. We do not take the shipping boxes and packaging with us do to space limitations on the delivery truck.

5. Does Freeman Furniture Designs have special "sales?"

Occasionally, we will have a promotion that will be advertised through search engines or our web site. So, if you're looking for special pricing, check back often.

6. How does the free delivery work?

Freeman Furniture Designs actually pays for your delivery for you. The cost is not added into the price like other “Free Delivery” claims. Our delivery is outsourced through a partner company called GWW Moving & Delivery. They are an excellent company with a great reputation for punctuality and kid gloves service.

7. Do you offer refunds or returns?

While we do offer free delivery to our Metro Atlanta customers, the expense of delivery is covered by Freeman Furniture Designs. We therefore cannot pay our staff to deliver furniture to customers only wanting to get a better look at it. All Sales are Final. Only defective merchandise may be exchanged.  All orders are 'Special Orders' and are subject to all regulations and policies of your credit card provider that govern 'Special Orders'.

8. What if the furniture is damaged when it arrives?

Because your satisfaction is our #1 goal, your furniture is inspected before it leaves the warehouse. If by some remote chance it arrives to your residence damaged, it will be returned to the warehouse and exchanged. This also applies to missing parts or hardware items, etc.

9. Do you offer financing?

We no longer offer retail financing. Check back with us in the future for financing options.

10. How can this purchase be tax free?

We are an e-commerce internet merchant company. We are not required to collect sales tax (*except for when the delivery address is the state of New Jersey).

11. Is the furniture exactly the same color or finish that I see on your website?

At best, finish photography is a representation of the actual finish and the actual finish cannot be reproduced in regards to the depth, clarity, and beauty of the furniture shown in our online showroom.

12. I live outside of Georgia. Does Freeman Furniture Designs ship to my city and state?

Yes, we will ship furniture out-of-state. Any furniture over 150 pounds must be shipped by a freight company. We will obtain a shipping quote from a third party shipper such as Roadway, Watkins or Central Transport. We will contact you to approve of the shipping quote. Upon your approval we will deliver the furniture to the freight company for shipment. All out-of-state shipments include 100% replacement insurance in the event of mishandling.

13. Can I mail in a check as a form of payment?

Yes, you can mail a check to pay for your furniture. To avoid check fraud or bounced check fees, your furniture will be delivered when the check has cleared our bank account.

14. What is Bonded Leather?

Bonded leather consists of collagen fibers obtained from macerated hide pieces bonded together with latex binders constructed into a fibrous mat to create a look and feel similar or sometimes identical to that of genuine leather but at a fraction of the cost.
